just skimmed the thread, congrats on a great project.

where will the car race?? What Class will it run in?? Will it run against the GT3RSR's and Cups and if so how do you think it will do??

Great job, cant wait to see how it performs compared to a stock GT2 vs Cup car!!

Here it is mounted together with my new CUP wheel..

You should have gotten the 3+ (plus), I ate through a Spec 3 in my 800 whp Corvette in only about 4k miles, none on track, and very few on high boost. I'd try to upgrade to the plus if that's not what you got already, the base spec 3's are fairly weak.

Well if I would race it in Sweden it would be together with Cup cars, Vipers and for example M3:s converted with M5 V8:s at 5-700HP. How it would stand, I really don´t know yet. What I do know is that you can have reliability problems with especially the gearbox if you do 6H endurance races on slicks! We had some examples on that in Sprints it seems to work fine with similar Porsche turbos.
I also heard about some series in other parts of Europe where turbos are Ok..
But for the moment I´m just gonna use it for fun and tracking it against other highend streetcars!

Well I´m not that sure about my own skills but I work together with people that built their first 996turbo back 98.... Yes you heard right in 1998.. Back then they used the 993Turbo Engine.
They also where involved in the old IMSA Porsche turbos.. They are skilled and they are fast!! It´s dream watching them go to work!

My part is doing all the "****ty" work and doing all the planning and pushing the project forward! We have to remember this is my first 996 project!

No one is working full time but I have good friends that help me out to a fair fee! All together we are about 6 people working on the car some more some less at their spare time!

Fuzzy dice... haha!
Send one to me and I will put it the car for you!! ;-)
