great looking car but without the LED lights behind the calipers that make the wheel wells light up at night, how do we know it's a really fast car?

 

nice project, did a similar one and racing this weekend. wish we could be on the track together. let me know if the car will be in the states!!

thank you. enduro race and two sprint races this weekend at Sebring against a bunch of Vipers, Ferrari's, and a new 997 Cup car. then we will see. I will post vids after the weekend and dont want to highjack this awesome thread. from our Swedish friend.....

 

Tom I´ve looked at your project more then once. :-)
I´m been buliding this car since 2007 but it´s not until now that i starts to work as intended
I took to the car show last year for a Swedish Magazine wanted me to be there after rebuilding the wrecked car in 10 months. But it was proberbly the first and last time! :-)

I´m planning to go back to above Swedish magazine testtrack a be the fastest Porsche once more I had the record back in 2005 with my old Porsche 944 TurboCup..

Yeah, the Z06 on Hoosier was faster, but not with much - guess we was pretty close at the end of the day!

Running 1.1 bar, hybrid k24s, lwfw, upgraded clutch, airfilter, headers, titanium exhaust.. Intrax 4 way titanium suspension and the seq shifter as you noticed! Was on Pirelli Corsas (standard GT2 sizes). Really didnt have much traction first half of the day, but the second half was much better.. Had a look at the data from the day earlier today, my fastest lap was 1:04.97 with a theoretical best 1:03.68 so no doubt I can get my lap times down quite a bit!!

Have you been at Gelleråsen yet, Puppan? what times are you running there?

(Think the fastests cars at gatebil runs 1:01-1:02s, a 1:04 would put you in top 5 without trouble)

 

For me its just the car, much more skilled and talented drivers out there!
