Was on Pirelli Corsas (standard GT2 sizes). Really didnt have much traction first half of the day, but the second half was much better.. Had a look at the data from the day earlier today, my fastest lap was 1:04.97 with a theoretical best 1:03.68 so no doubt I can get my lap times down quite a bit!!

Have you been at Gelleråsen yet, Puppan? what times are you running there?

(Think the fastests cars at gatebil runs 1:01-1:02s, a 1:04 would put you in top 5 without trouble)

Nice Spec!! :-)
I heard a lot of good stuff about the intrax system!
What kind of hybrid K24 are running hybrids with k26? ow much power are you putting out! Looked like you outrunned me in the straits!

I been to Gelleråsen last autumn with stock engine and the weather was kind of bad. The ideal line was ok most of the day but if you went outside that then you where in trouble.. Anyway my best time was 1.14:4 if i rememeber correct!

Do you now if the Corvette was stock besides the Hossier slicks?

Should be putting out ~550hp, but never dynoed it. Anyway, really don't think I need more power yet - less weight and a better driver... I did 1:13.6 at Gelleråsen april this year, pretty happy with that!

Don't know anything about the corvette, but think we should be faster than him at the end of the day

I heared times around 1.02-1.03 for him.
Seems a bit fast, he didn´t pull away that much in my opinion!
I don´t think he had a accurate laptimer so it was proberbly measured with a cellphone..?

This thread continues to deliver satisfaction. Thanks.

Excellent vid. Looks you had no competition that day. The music cracked me up a little bit at first with the beverly hills cop synth, knowing how intense being on the track is, then listening to lighthearted music is a fun dichotemy.

Don't forget stronger wastegate springs. K24s really need that to hold boost.

REVO sells an adjustable flash.

Allready bought and in my garage..

K24:s
GT2 IC
Maxspeed intake
5 bar fpr
FVD exhaust with 100cell race cats
ported OEM headers
Cup -04 flywheel

aiming for about 550-600 crank HP, sounds correct or??

Here I have some big confusions on what software or solution I should choose, I am thinking of going Piggyback with a swedish company selling supercharger kits with piggyback in the US for VIPERS(under alias) www.civinco.com... This gives me much more flexiblility when retuning the car in version 2.0.. But as I said I really need some input here! I see no 6speeders using piggyback so that´s why i am holding back!

Does your camera have a mic input? You can run a remote mic in the rear of the cabin, get more nice engine noise and no/little wind noise for those track events.

My clips are terrible because of my cheapo camera catching all the wind noise. Masking tape over the mic hole helps a tad.

Thanks for sharing your sweet project.

I thought it would be time for a post about the car again.. :-)

This is the 2010 look..
1 inch wider frontfenders at each side. Making it possible with 285/18 R888 R-tires in front.. It made a complete new feeling in the car!!
The 997 Cup wide front package for 996 are sold in Sweden..
