Just a question that I forgot to ask.
What fuelpump would you suggest with the 5FPR and and Promotives 18G setup. The Bosche044??

Pete,
that is a great build!! Sucks I missed it until now. My 996 is going through a full update and I am changing the color to white. I sure would like some more of the RSR bits you have the go under the car. I have alll the RSR exterior stuff

I´ve looked at your car before!
It´s really nice.

I was looking for the same "Kit" for my car but it didn´t work out at the rear fenders due to my IC inlets/outlets. Zimmermann has a kit for this but I really dont like it. The car look´s to fat at the rear.

Good look with your great build!

/Pete

Nice...I'm surprised that that car didn't get parted out. In the states that would've been a total loss...Great project thou. Looking at that stripped frame gave me chills. The man hours of labor you've put into this car are priceless. Great project....fantastic pics.

Long time no Posting...

Well the car is absolutely road legal wich fells just great!!
I had some minor but never the less very anoying problems with my engine so my Proto K24/18G isn´t installed yet but Todd have been great helping me!

I´ve so far runned the car at two track events and this car has potential to be really, really crazy fast! This is the first time in pushing a 996 for me so I´m still learning to drive a car with the engine in the rear-end!!

Nice job. Looks like all your hard work is paying off.

Now I wonder if you would do it all over again or just buy one not wrecked next time?

Yup, finally!
Well considering the low prices on 996 these days... the answer is no!

The show starts up again heading for 2009!

Decided to jump on my wallet once more trying to get the last pennies or kronor as we call it in Sweden out of it

I invested in a serious set och dampers. The Öhlins POFXC00 Kit.
For those not interested in Öhlins product numbers it´s their 3-Way high-end system.

In my opinion this is "State of the Art" dampers and I wouldn´t choose any other damper in front of this packege.. Some of you may disagree but thats your problem..

I also invested in a new set of race exhaust..
Made with the new popular design in the US, but this piece is made in good old Sweden!

The sound and feel of this design is great! Much better than my old FVD Exhaust! With the FVD the caqr sounded like an old fishing vessel..

On the picture mounted on another fast Porsche on this forum!
