Starting to get ready for the season!
Did one session in the Swedish Time Attack series but with alot of problems.... Water, fuel etc...
Hopefully next race that will be sorted out!
First night we got the beast started!

Very nice. Thank you for sharing. Couple of questions.
1. What ABS unit are you using?
2. What intercooler inlets are those? They look larger than the stock ones. I am looking at getting the Manthey version in order to force a little more air down the ducts.

I´m running the 996 CUP ABS but that is not working yet. Got problem last year with my old GT2 ABS and went for this this winter. It has different cabling then GT2 so that need to be arranged.

Yes I looked at Manthey ducts and read alot of info on Rennlist about ducting to force-feed the IC before we redesigned and built our own.. I think Mantheys are still a bit small. We then redesigned the outlets as well to create a bit of vaacum behind the car!

We also redesigned the cooling airflow in front after looking into the RSR and GT3R designs... Instead of letting a lot of air from side coolers into the front wheel bays we installed wents on the fenders letting most air out and there.. and big outlets behind front wheels..

Another year and another race season..
Newly built engine, can come back on that in a later post later but first a short clip from my first race... Now the car is starting to fly.... ;-)

Love ur super quick 996 and ur IC ducts very similar to mine and other members which were made by Joe Toth and the Hound we have found up to 10 degrees cooler IATs and a significant power increase.

I just got my Motec ADL2 Dash Logging going and in that I can see my temp in there. I will try to add a picture later today.. It worked very well even in varm racing conditions with my GT2RS IC:s..

Did you ever get the Cup ABS up and running? I've been running mine fo the last year and it's really phenomenal.
