I have seen your car many times and it is a great project. I own the 997 GT3 that was converted into a track car. Your project makes me feel sane. No question Loren is one of the top builders and your car will be a monster! BTW I own the CA personal plate BADGT2

Keep posting updates.

Thanks for the support and comments. I must say that this project would never have been possible without Cary Eisenlohr's creativity and support along with Loren Begg's technical knowledge and great fabrication abilities. As we get further along, I will update everyone on our progress. Should have roll cage, inner cooler external water spray system, and balance of engine complete in the next couple of weeks. We are also completing the witing harness and MoTec controls during the next couple of weeks as well. Then off to the body shop for final body work and paint.

Here are pics of the final engine config ready for install. If you are wondering where the power steering has gone...we converted the car to RSR electric power steering. The pump assembly is now in the nose of the car along with the RO water tank for the inner cooler water spary system.

Outstanding! The way they should have been from the factory. I have been thinking about doing this for months now. How easy was it to adapt?
Thanks.

Not too bad. We designed a custom enclosure for the pump, in case it leaks, and installed the pump. I think the entire project cost was around $4000. Not bad for getting rid of quite a bit of useless weight. I will post pics tomorrow.
