The South Florida Guys are getting their cars on the Dyno this week at Champion Motorsport to see how their mods are stacking up the Horsepower.Today it was my turn, eventhough there is always room for imporvement my car dyno readings where 550 RWHP and 565 lb of torque. I thought Champion was getting a 4WD Mustang Dyno. Is that true?

If it is a 4WD dyno, are your numbers for 4 wheels or just 2?

My peak results were 505hp and 486ft-lbs on a Mustang 4WD dyno.

I realize that the GIAC Stage 4GT is supposed to get an additional 40 hp over the GIAC Stage 4, but if your results were on a 2WD dyno, then something is not right. 2WD results will be higher than 4WD results since the frictional losses of the front wheel drive system are eliminated.

its a 2wd dyno jet. Xico is running a stage 5 now it is just not properly tuned yet. He has the larger injectors as well. His car once tuned should throw down 600 to the rear wheels. Its a monster already.

i will post graphs sometime tomorrow . We have some adjustments to make to get the car over 600RWHP and then i will post those graphs as well.

Ken i have made changes to my car since Tail of the Dragon , as you may or may not know, i was running on 75% of the fuel needed due to a fuel filter that had not been changed for 46,000 miles and was partially cloged( that is why my car was missing at high speeds). My car is now a lot faster and extremely smooth all the way to redline, ask Orli, he drove it today. with the right minor adjustments i should soon be over 600RWHP which will make me very happy for about a week until i get used to that power and want more. You know it never stops.

I will be dynoing my car tonight. Xicos car looked like it was going to jump off the dyno. It was pulling really hard!!!

Bobby is a real good guy to work with. He is working really hard to get the Tuning program going at Champion. With Tods help from EVO for all of Champions Porsche tuning, they should be ok.

Xico, have you already upgraded your con-rods, I'm sure you have some good a/m units installed as the stock rods will not live long at those power levels.
