Boost?

Hello...While I was cruising in 6th gear 3-4krpm I thought i lost power...the car stop boosting over 0.5 bar...the idle is fine, the engine at low rpm with no boost is fine,no CEL,no limp mode, not even a single code just no boost over 0.5-0.6.also the engine sound from 2k and above is different(maybe because there is no turbo sound to hear)
...Any ideas?

I had the same problem recently and had a loose boost hose and a cracked f hose (boost hose). What mods do you have (what is your normal boost)?

boost

The car has k16/24 turbos, reflashed DME,remus exhaust and bmc filter...It runs 1,3-1,4 over and 1,1 stable boost pressure...It happened when i pressed the gas with 6th gear and the pressure went to 1,4...the car boosted then i lost power...

it's most likely a boost leak- jack the car up and look underneath where the hose connects the turbo to the intercooler....

1.4 bar of boost seems too high....

Mitsako, check the F-hose and the diverter valves! 99% there's your leak!

How do you know there are no codes? Get the codes read (you do not need to get an idiot light to have codes stored). There are possibilities....leak, TB shutdown.

Problem solved...The right wastegate axle was unbolted from the exhaust flap and so the turbo remained under no pressure...Easy and no cost repair...
