Held out as long as possible!

Well after 6 months of tt ownership and being on this dang board everynight, I took the plunge and ordered a 1 bar program from Kevin at UMW. I first want to say that everyone hear that sings his praise is indeed correct about his operation. He was available to talk, and always responded. Kevin did exactly what he said he would do, when he said he would do it. A rare thing sometimes these days ! The power these cars makes is just so seamless and meaty, and after a little road time this evening with the new program, I am even more in love with the car than ever. So far just exhaust mod and the program, DV's and fresh plugs go in tomorrow. I know, I keep telling myself to stop there, do the suspension and brakes and leave well enough alone. I can stop,, I know I can stop... Please help me stop !!!!!! All you performance tuners should just be ashamed of yourself for making these cars run so damm good !!!! Anyway, thanks to Kevin and all of you on this board for providing so much good info and sharing your experience in you own journeys down that slippery slope!

Enjoy the tune. Kevin has been great to deal with & will always take the time to discuss issues, problems or just info about our cars. Good luck.

Yep...pss10 next...and it may be your favorite mod. +1 for Kevin and UMW. First step is admitting you have a problem...

Congrats on getting onto that very very slippery slope... it will never stop. As I now realise myself, resistance is futile.... man... just saving for some HRE monoblocks now....

Today the old Beru plugs came out in exchange for a set of Bosch"s and I installed the new Diverter valves that Kevin supplied. Car is running perfect and all is well. I am going to continue my journey down the slope by doing the suspension for the next go around and then I will consider an exhaust. I am actually quite happy with the modified exhaust via the drilled hole routine, but I know by getting rid of the OEM cats that additional ponies will be freed up, I am a bit hesitant about ending up with a car that is too loud on those long drives.

That was my worry also...and it has happened to me before. Europipe stage 2 quiet is very close to stock...you get the reduction in back pressure, lower exhaust note, more purposeful, but not loud. But one of the more expensive options. You will really like the coil overs. Enjoy your addiction..
