thats cool. i wouldnt walk into a X over a GT-R. i wouldnt walk into a 911 TT or z06 over a GT-R.

performance wise. and as said, looks are subjective. the porsches are too curvy and flowy for my taste. love the look of the c6 z06 but like the GT-R better.

i like edgy looking cars. cars that stand out. z06 is too common. well so are porsches but looks wise. i rank GT-R, z06, porsche. but i willl take a GT2 or GT3. but not over the GT-R. just to add to the stable. hell ill take a z06 as well. ill take them all.

all offer different things

JC comment, well when you have watched all of the episodes like I have you would get it.

edgy? yah, I have friends that like garage built IMSA cars, and the GTR fits that mold perfectly.

Porsche TT, $120+k car common? what planet are you on? You wanna see common, give the GTR a few years, it will be as common as all the vettes. So there goes that comment of yours.

The GTR is absolutely at the bottom of the list. Period. It is horribly ugly, and I have no doubt Frankenstein had his hand in it.

1/4 mile = 12.6
3900 lbs - Fat.

Again, why waste your money on a GTR (80k)when you can have another Japanese product for half the price (32K plus 8k in mods) that will run circles around it...STI and EVO.

If you are going to go ugly, you might as well cut your cost. That is what a buddy of mine said about the girls he dated, but I think it applies here.

maybe porsches arent common where you live but they are beyond common here in orlando.

the GT-R will never be common b/c production numbers will remain low.

looks are subjective. put a GT-R next to a turbo and see which looks dated. it wont be the GT-R

if you think a EVo or STI can replace a GT-R you need to gain some perspective. thats like saying a 997s can replace a 911 TT. it cant.

All I can say is beauty is skin deep but ugly is clear to the bone. I do not think I could get my dog to play with the GTR if I tied two pork chops to the side mirrors. Having said that--To each his own, that is why there are so many different styles and cars to choose from.
For me I like the classic and traditional lines of a Porsche that resemble the beautiful natural curves of the female body. There is nothing better!!!!

Hello.

I am a teenager who lives with his parents. Sometimes my mom lets me drive her minivan.

I have come to 6speedonline.com to offer strong opinions on your choice of $100k+ sports cars (you should've bought a GT-R instead). I am very knowledgeable regarding all things automotive because I read Car & Driver and watch Top Gear.

Nice to meet u guyz.

about 10k more than gtr at 100k since gtr premiums are 20k over retail.

I recall one sunday afternoon in downtown Chicago ....
I used to go for lunch after a long work weekend on Rush street(a hot spot).
I used to take out my Lambo, modena, etc... whatever I had at the time... and sure I would get *** like there is no tomorrow- the cars did the job lol....
.. but nothing replaces one sunday afternoon as I was getting out of my P car..
... a older well dressed couple( inthe early 60s) came up to me as they were walking by and said...
... " son, that is one beautiful porsche" ...

nope
couldnt post a production GT-R? fast on the street and especially track. can use everyday
this isnt the production EVO
the ACR is a beast but cant live with it every day being that its a track bred monster and isnt in the same league of the base GT-R
dated, dont like the rims, red color or black hood paint scheme. this looks says "mid life crisis" sorry

I really see mixed feelings of our perspectives toward the GTR from this board. It is almost like the GTR is the new kid in town, younger (cheaper) and stronger (performance). This kid may be cocky and coming toward us a bit strong, and some of us are threaten by it. But face it, don't we all experience this many, many times in our life. Can't we just accept it and look at it as an open competition? Without this kid, Porsche would sit on the couch, get fat, and make something like... the Cayman. Believe me, we will see something big coming from Porsche because of this kid.

Just my two cents.
