Which boost on which rpm / gear on a 996TT X50 (stock)

Hi guys,

I think I have a boost problem...
According the boost gauge, the car hits only 0.7-0.8 bar in the first two gears, after 6000rpm. The 0.9 bars I haven't seen for a long time now...

Does anyone know, which boost the car should reach per rpm / gear?

thx in advance,
R

If your stock, you should see .7 to .8bar by around 3000rpms or so. If you're flashed, you should see .9-1.2bar, (depending on flash) by about the same rpm. In both cases, it should hold to redline. If not, boost leak or wastegate problems?

a stock car should see .7, in colder weather it might go up .1 or so but not much more.

my car is stock and i've seen it hit 1.2bar. Is that normal? Sometimes when its cold out just before shifting it hits 1.2bar. Does that mean the car is flashed and I dont even know it? It doesn't seem very fast.. i can easily get spanked by most V8's and other 6cyl+ turbo cars..

@ split

if you see 1.2 bar the ecm is hardly stock. A stock tt should go to ~ 0.7 bar and a x50 to 0.8/0.9
Probably you're not only flashed...
