Favorite Break Pads?

My front are getting down there (no light from the sensor yet) so I was wondering, which pads people tend to go with? Pagid orange, the stock ones or? I pretty much drive it every day. Go on spirited drives through the canyons on weekends and the occasional track thing...

TIA

Chris Y. is infamous around these parts
I've tried the Pagid orange and they are really noisy! I tried putting some teflon and anti-squeel spray which help a bit, but once it washed off it was noisy again.

I have the Pagid Yellow P90 pads, heat up to (1100F) good for street and track, not as noisy as the orange pads (1050F) and good initial bite and good modualtion. Wear relatively fast but easy on the rotors. Oranges will wear on rotors much more aggressively. Also the Oranges don't bite too well when cold, needs some heat built up. Not very good for the street, the yellows are much better cold braking.

Also the Black Pads are high friction value ceramic type compound with very good modulation. Higher heat threshold upto 1200F same compound as the "green" cup pads. Green pads are pricey $516 just for pads, better wear rate than the yellows.

hey Sharkey,
I haven't tried the Blues, but I think the Blues are formulated for lighter cars.

I think the Yellows might be better. But heck what do I know.

Ahh.. I geddit. I wish mine was lighter but yellow it is. What do you know? You are Oak... you have front mounted missile launchers, I mean brake coolers and GT3 spec brakes, which means you are into brakes in a big way.

Where'd you get yours from then? Not seen any Pagid Yellows for sale anywhere
