Decent brake upgrade options?

I know there are probably thousands of threads about this but im desperate to just get some parts today...

I want to know for the standard 4 pot brakes on the turbo what pads , lines and fluid would work best

that is all. thank you

Depends on what you're doing with the car. I always thought the stock brakes were excellent for everday, aggressive street use, and even light track duty

If you're tracking the car, I like the Pagid Yellows up front and Black in the rear. I know a lot of guys like the Castrol fluid, but I've had really good luck with the ATE Super Blue for a lot lower cost. In my mind the real track upgrade for the 4 pots on the track is going to slotted rotors. Heat cycling kills the drilled rotors. Either Girodisc or Coleman.

Porsche brakes are very good stock. So if you're just using it on the street I would recommend saving the money and putting it towards something else.

Love that color! If you feel that the bite at first is to soft you can open up the hole that feeds the brake fluid to the front caliper.

Plus 1 for the GT3 6 piston calipers and 350mm rotors all around. I felt a definite improvement at the track. The front brake pad that goes with them is huge.

Did you go with drilled or slotted rotors? Since I switched to PFC 01's, great pads - bite hard, my stock drilled rotors have cracked quite a bit, I heard this would happen but wanted to try the pads before I changed to GT3 6 po/350mm. I will probably go with slotted rotors. I use Castrol SRF, I used the blue but brakes got mushy towards the end of the day at Homestead, since I switched no problems. These pads are great but generate a ton of heat.

im just looking for a quick solution then move on to bigger brakes in the future.

Will stock 997 (350mm) rotors work with the 4 pots?

Appr 2 - 2.5

Endless RF650 is one of the very best fluids around w highest boiling point and low compressibility = max feel.

Endless ME20 are some of the very best pads around for tracking. Just for street they usually make noise.
