Stradale vs TT

Loc: Malibu Stradale mileage report 8900 miles
#87060 - Wed Mar 23 2005 09:29 PM
went in early [not at 10,000]. the CS is proving bulletproof "like a Porsche" and very mild on consumables.
- 6% clutch wear at 8900 miles. Service mgr says not unuusual for him to see 50% wear in his 360 pool
- 20% pad wear on first set of brake pads
- rotors perfect
all Strads need is oil and brake fluid changes!!!! "Like a rock", or is it "no substitute"?

I just don't like the fact the Stradale doesn't have much torque. You would have to keep it up in the revs to have any fun. I think I would only want one if I could keep my current tt.
Just my opinion but the tt with 400 ft lb's of torque stock and my car with nearly 700 ft lb's would be hard to give up.

did not mean to "insult" with the comment the v8 being f-1 like
CGT is most f-1 sounding car i have ever heard on the road. you are very lucky to have both!

the TT isn't that much faster, but more importantly the stradale feels more exciting. another friend of mine sold his RUF'd 520 hp TT for a stradale and is thrilled with the decision. the US cars are much quieter (though still very vocal) than the euro ones. as well, i have a friend who through exhaust alone gained 30 peak hp and 50 down low. the ecu is next and i'm sure the result will be nice.
there is nothing out there like the stradale - save for the enzo. it's not something you can adequately describe in words, but once you're butt has been in one, you're gonna want one.

And that was with engine bolt on's and a few special suspension parts.
She'll also take the almighty Enzo.
I should have her back together by the first of July. If there is a street legal Enzo or Stradale that feels otherwise we can arrange a little get together.

when i said nothing out there like the stradale - save for the enzo, i was referring to the experience as a result of the sensory imput no TT (including yours) can provide - unless of course it too has carbon fiber door panels, exposed metal floors, no carpet, no sound deadening material, and an italian song playing behind you at 8500 screaming RPM.
