Boost Leaks- how to find them... pics inside

just RE-discovered this thred, so X posting my question if anyone can help with "name that hose"? i'll repost and if anyone knows? thanks.
it's a small elbow shaped hose that connects up top near the Venturi and pre plenum.. and below its near the n75. mine is crimped. i can see it visually, and it needs to be swapped and it is impeding boost significantly. i can actually "see" that it is crimped/failed as in "not round" but rather pushed in. just the sort of thing to inhibit boost which it is as i'm only making .7-8 max and the car is tuned 1.2 and regularly hits 1.3 when all is normal. no cels just a crimped hose. not a big deal. but..
does anyone one know what it's actually called? i cannot locate the schematic of those intake part diagrams near the plenum, although i myself have posted the diagram in the past!
anyone can offer some guidance as to the part/hose i would appreciate it. TIA.
( pretty sure it's the hose where mark skis thumb is..? if that is in fact the Venturi tube its connected to(?) the angle is odd for me to tell, as once looking at it dead on it's turned/elbowed toward the outside of the rear of the car.
anyone else concur that it appears to be #12 in the diagram? it's the only one i see elbowed and appears to be in roughly the right place. unless anyone knows this one is NOT the one connecting from the venturi tube and to the n75 below. in either event, there are only so many hoses involved so this narrows it down, pretty much.: G99611065172

mine "collapsed" internally and again, it is visibly malformed now. no longer round. it isn't "loose"! the hose clamps are all tight. that's the oddity of the situation, and the car runs perfectly fine other than the fact that boost is limited now to 7/8, from its normal 1.2-3. its strange. if i wasn't able to actually see the collapsed #12 hose, i wouldn't have had a clue.
hey markski! sorry for the unauthorized use of your "thumb pic" lol.
can you help too confirm for me that this: G99611065172
IS in fact the #12 hose?? if you dont know, i dont know who would. its a 40$ hose and i dont wanna order the wrong part! TIA!

Markski,
I wish there was someone like you to do a boost leak test as complete as you in the Toronto Canada area!! I need to pick up your boost tester, but I have no one I know that would be able to test it like you. For me to do it, if there is a something leaking to know what it is would be a pain.
I fully agree there is Nothing better for a turbo car performance then a "PROPER" leak test AND NOT JUST A SMOKE TEST!! 60% of all my turboed car issues would only be found with more then 18psi of pressure.

Before you install, confirm you get the #12 hose. The part number you mentioned appears to be the #11 hose. I believe the #12 ends in 372, not 172.
see my SECOND more recent diagram its hose #35 part 996.2017.3770 i was X posting in this thread and one i began.. sorry

tho..thx for the headsup! this is tough when you're not the "wrench" and i assure you..i am not lol.
add: if you see the 2nd diagram of the parts on the passenger side of the plenum, there are no hoses to be found! thats where my confusion set in. the first diagram shows the hoses that lead to the venturi tube are are nowhere to be found in the "throttle intake" diagram so the "oil tank" diagram are the next places that "any" hoses can be found that exist on the right/passenger side "facing" the plenum ( or even at the plenum ) if standing at the car engine compartment. WHEW
