Brake boost on Tip

Have a few try on the brake boosting, dead stop, both 1 and 2nd gear tried, around 2200rpm it could have 0.2 bar then I release brake and floor it, boost is still there but the car wasn't going v fast at all, it looks like u floor it in high gear, boost up but not yet achieve the ideal rpm, 0-60 time slower than left foot brake 0.5s....anyone could give me some more idea? Thanks

car limits you, but you can actually brake boost a bit higher in 2nd gear. Try doing that and then downshifting to first quickly. Make sure PSM is off.

You can not brake boost once you are already moving unless a tuner modifies your ecu

Oh, I tried on 2nd gear but I didn't shift it down 1st, that's why. I have tune but I don't have Softronic has done this on mine...Thanks for advising, will have a try again.

Isn't this how you blew your motor? I would not advise doing this.

It is very simple...
put it on 1st gear
left foot brake, hard press
right foot gas, till about 2200-2500 rpm, torque converter can go higher
let go the brake and floor it at the same time
if she doesn't go, must have other problems

huh? you should know the brake boosting you can do on a stock ecu will not harm the engine.

my motor messed up because it overreved due to oil on my tires and a large amount of torque. Not sure why my car did not shift...

It build 0.2bar before launch but not expected fast, even slower in 0-62. But it had a boost leak before and now fixed, thought they are not related anyway.
