Which tire size looks better.... 305 vs 315. Pic inside

What do you guys think? Deciding if I should go back to 315's. I switched to 305's for a bit more sidewall but with the tire being about 1" taller it rubs if I lower it anymore than the picture.

Car is RWD so rolling diameter doesn't matter.

Thanks!

- David

*** I went with Michelin Super Sports 305/30/19 & 235/35/19. Pics are on page 3 ***

*** Another shot of the 315/25/19 Toyo T1R is on page 4 to give you another look at the 25 sidewall ***

If it's a show car, 315 looks good but the tire choice is horrible. If you want a quality tire, you need to get the 305.

for street duty the taller tires will survive longer but the 315 looks good

I just removed my almost new Michelin 235/35/19 and 315/25/19 PS2s and replaced them with Bridgestone 235/35/19 and 305/30/19 N1 RE50As. The Bridgestone 305 is substantially wider than the Michelin 315.. My car is RWD/LSD.

How much have you lowered it already? How much more do you plan to go? I have 305's on mine and prefer them over the 315's. I'm at stock ride height and plan to lower it, but am worried about rubbing. Thx. Sorry for threadjacking.. Oh, my vote =305's.

When I get back in a couple days I'll measure how tall the tire is and how high my fender is off the floor. I don't rub at the height I'm at and am at almost full droop on my jrz shocks.

i too went from 315 Toyo to 315 PS2.
PS2 is a fatter tire than Toyo and looked better

However now i have 305 PS2 is prefer the Ride and Look as well

this is on a 11.5" Wheel
