997.1 are basically the same rods and block. The 997.1 has a lower
compression ratio and it's about 13% more volumetrically efficient.

 

Being devils advocate here, YOU have STARTED a thread accusing AMS of being blatent liars and con artists (no mention of not building quick cars however) AMS have come on and given their side of it and issued a challenge/offered to prove to you their claims and now you want to just shut the thread, now thats not exactly playing fair is it? A bit like saying something in front of a jury that you know is not allowed and the judge says the jury will not take that into account !!!! You have issued a challenge by starting the thread at least have the decency to call the guy on his reply.

As for running big power on stock engines we all know various claims for this ie Turbo Mike at IPD etc etc, not a Porsche but my friend ran 2 seasons drag racing in his tube framed Supra @1200+ hp on and UNOPENED stock bottom end, it never failed, unlike the built engine he replaced it with and this was driven on the road as well (fastest street car type series)

The way I see it youve called it on and now your backing out!!!

I didn't mention AMS's fast cars?

In one of my post I said AMS builds some of the fastest cars in the world. I made several
references to their successes with GTRs and the like. Had you taken time to actually
read my post, you would see that my argument is premised on the notion that they're
making unrealistic claims with Porsche based on previous success with other marques.


Just what does a reference to a high horsepower Toyota Supra or any other car for that
matter, have to do with what we are talking about here?

And I'm not backing out. I called AMS out. Everybody that knows Porsche on this board
knows their claims aren't realistic. The thread is no longer serving any purpose but
to belittle and that was not my intention.

 

On tial alpha 28s not k16s. And Pauter rods, big fuel system and essentially a
piggyback ems.

 

How is it a Piggy back? eurodyne is a Ecu tuning software suite for STOCK ECU. I used it to go 10.20 and Chris Green uses it to tune his record breaking GT2

Yes I know that Chris used it and he's an authorized tuner / dealer.

Seems to me you dont want to put your money where your mouth is AMS have offered to back up your claims but you keep skirting around the fact im afraid its put up shut up or apologise or you have yet again from looking at previous posts just come up to bad mouth, in fact if I were AMS and due to the fact you are such a high flyer IF I could prove my claim Id be looking to sue you, personally I think you have showed yourself to be extremely foolish in the light of the offer by AMS!!
