I have my co-pilot 03C4S (Hani) and we are set. Our route will cover I-40 for 2100 some miles. If any of you live along the I-40 corridor you can cheer us on! We will try to post updates on the trip as it happens!

OK, if this isn't enough of a reason to enlist Watt, Hamman7, cjv, and all of you west coasters to attend TOD and make it a national event, I don't know what is!! Remember, there are 10 rooms waiting at the Rennaissance Hotel! They will be gone as of Friday.
I wonder if this will spark enthusiasm for more people to attend.

It may prove beneficial for you guys to meet us at the entrance to the Tail since you will be coming from the west. It will require some planning. The Tail is located west of Asheville so we could converge there. It really doesn't make sense to backtrack.

 

No. We are leaving the hotel at 12:00pm to head west to the Tail. It makes more sense for you guys to meet us at the Tail rather than pass it to come to Asheville just to turn around and go back west to get back to it. After meeting at it and driving it, we will make our way back to the hotel for Friday night. That will make it a purely westward route for you two rather than eastward to Asheville, then westward to the Tail and then eastward back to the hotel.
