GIAC flash-loader installed

When I bought my car, GIAC flash loader was already installed in the car, I'm wondering if there is any requirement or constraint of using the Cobb AP in my car at this point??

No worries. It rights over pretty much anything unless your ECU has been messed with that we always figure it out. Let me know if myself or any approved and authorized dealer can help get you started.

I've been thinking about going with a Cobb as well. I already have a 1 bar tune on my car. It was on the car when I bought it. Do I need to figure out who's tune is currently on my car before I buy an Accessport?

I had a AWE tune on my car when I bought it. Got the COBB and overwrote the ECU and works fine no issues.

Have the COBB with the OTS tune - is there anyway that COBB can adjust the idle speed from 740 > 860 RPM to reduce LWFW chatter at idle?

If you idle higher than 800 rpm your oil level sensor wont work as its set at 800 or lower

I don't think that's true. My proto tune idles over 800 - and the oil level sensor works fine.

The adjustment is to the idle target. I'm pretty sure the way the oil level works is relative to that value.

if the car idles to high ie: above 800 rpm when you go to check the oil level the dash will say idle to high mine used to idle at 900 rpm and could never check the level. went gt3 dipstick so its no longer an issue but the high idle isnt an answer to the chatter anywaqy. 700 - 800 is were the car likes to idle at

Mine has a target of 920. Idles goes up or down 10rpm or so. I have no problems checking oil level.

Curious, what timing do you guys see at idle and what A/F? My clutch and flywheel are quit light so a steady idle is a little tough especially with big injectors!

I can log idle for you on my car if you want something to compare, which may or may not be any value to you since my car is nearly stock (GT2RS ICs and Rennline solid engine mounts)... Anything specific ie- cold start idle, warm start idle, idle after drive? I'll log RPM, lambda both banks and ignition angle/inj duty cycle and actual throttle value unless you would like to add/subtract anything from that. Let me know!

Just warmed up idle would be great, cruise timing at say 55mph or so is also of interest. I suspect it's close to stoich at both but idle could be richer. With a standalone I can command anything so am curious as to what the factory chose Appreciate any data contributed!
