Pineapple Express 996tt Vs Evo X Roll Race

Ive been getting more and more active here on 6SO, and I just came across one of the video's that shows why.

Ive been for a long time debating what car to move into next (Prior=Supercharged DCT M3), and later in the day at SlipStream's event, I had some free time. My boy insisted I drive his car. Reluctantly, I finally agreed.

After relearning how to drive a real trans, and not stall, off I went vs my other buddies car, and E-Spec built Evo X.

The 996TT build info is here: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...o-results.html

I believe it was only on about E30 (93+E85 mix) and MID-Boost setting, roughly 620hp (DJ). I wish I could have tried it on real E85 and max boost setting but as we run the event, we focus more on that than ourselves, and went through more E85 in the weekend than we thought we would.

Race format- This event is unique because it actually measures the start speed and time/distance between cars at the starting line. Standard start speed is 60mph (+/- 5mph for validation) and .15 difference between cars at the start. race distance is exactly 1600' from start to line. Thats enables us to standardize the formal MPH's across the spectrum.

I was a bit hesitant on the shifting for this run.Once I realized I could do my worst and this car could take it. My best run came soon after with a 64mph start and 155mph trap.

These cars are truly amazing when built right
Needless to say, Im now searching/debating my own build (996 vs 997)
