I've been looking at this thread. There is lots of good information and varied ways to look at wheels and tire sizes.
I have owned several Porsches over the years. I have still three today including a shinny red 996TT. The car came with 19" staggered offset Champion wheels and monster rear tires 315/25/19..
My question would be: What is the impact of varied tire sizes and wheel choices? I know what Porsche says... I have two new Michelins Pilot Super-Sport 295/30/19 that I would like to think I can use on the turbo when I need tires again or state to hate these TOYOs. All I would have to buy would be the fronts.
After appearance, there's function and impact on the car's geometry.
It would be very interesting to hear some more about this subject. 40 plus years with Porsche and still learning.
fair enough but i dont even think they make em in18? whereas the f14 they do. my memory is dodgy iirc they didn't make em in 18? and i cant run a 19 or i'd have bought em!. i think the cf10 is much better LOOKING tire the the f14 i think.

I'm sure you'll like em, congrats.
Yep never made the cf 10 in an 18 and they said they never will. I agree though, cf10 are better looking than a f14, that's why I went with them
i love the style but the main reason is it seems every version of a porsche brake pad has tons of dust and i can clean the cf5 easier than any other wheel i have had. can't stand black wheels at a car show!

I font think the cf10s will be to bad. F14s suck to clean, so do the ruger mesh m310
