Well I'm happy today. My tires came in for the car. Still waiting a week or 2 for my forgestars to some in but should have them on the car after the first of the year. I'll have pics on the fender mods to do to fit the sizes.
255/35/19 on 19x9
325/30/19 on 19x12
sure hope you don't have hard turn lock issues running that 19! i sure did, and gave up on 19's long long ago. pisses me off that they never made the cf10 is 18. i will never understand the thinking of the decision makers at these wheel companies vis a vis making wheel sizes that PORSCHE deemed "correct" VS the "bling" of a 19. i mean they made the stockers and even gt2 wheels in 18!? presumably, for a reason!
enjoy your new setup! forgestar is a pretty decent wheel/deal for the money.

I didn't like the tire selection for 18s was the biggest reason. Yes they ate hard to fit but will slight fender mods it is no problem.
Second thing is if I jump up to a 997 in the future I can run the came wheels.
true..tires are a never ending dilemma! i wonder if you'll ( probably? ) need to roll the rear liner? with 12's as i run, i would think so?! either way, great choice again! enjoy!

They are rolled and line it's bolted to the top of the fender wall. I have to add a splice piece in yet and I'm going to change from the factory he bolts to a round head screw.
Other pic is with my 275s off my vr4 which have the same diameteras the 325s. That's what I used to mod and measure the rear. The one is the pic stick out 15mm further than the 325s will.
Looks like you did your homework. What offsets did you end up going with?
The advantage of owning 5 cars, lots of wheels to choose from to check fitment. Have a buy a set of adapters though.
I went with 19x9+40 on the front
19x12+40 rear.
Rethinking I could have gone 45 in the front but I like the wide look.
Car should look mean.
...^ this, and now you've "lost" me, lol.. but you'll enjoy your choice, and "homework" as to "choices" as gophaster has mentioned is the key. but this you also knew
although ironically if i had done MY homework i would never have even messed with 19's in the first place, but different strokes, etc etc. enjoy it as the car looks great!
will this be ( for this car..) your first set of re11's?

Ya if they made more 18 inch tires and wheels I would have probabaly gone that way. Idk this setup should look and perform very nice. Yes first set of re-11 on the car. I was going to put pss on but car is a autox, track and weekend toy. Going to put some all seasons on the stock wheels for road trips or early spring and driving.
why did you go so big, any benefits? I ended with 245/35/19 and 305/30/19 as going to lower the car under gt2 specs and trying to run aggressive suspension settings. I guess these might be even better than going wider tires, but if you want to keep the car at oem height or even lowered but nothing crazy, then you might have a good combo for street

Been there done that Fadi. The 19" 255/325 combo will work on the street at moderate ride heights but it's just not possible to run it very low as you would with an aggressive track set up. The diameters are just too huge to stuff in the wheel wells even with aggressively rolled fenders. The fenders are not really the problem. You also need to run springs in the 1500# range to keep wheel compression to a minimum which obviously requires $$$ race dampers. With a soft suspension there is just too much compression travel and the tire will contact the wheel well at the top on larger bumps. Due to the speeds and amount of tire grip on slicks or semi slicks, the amount of load and compression on a suspension at the track is much much greater than what you will encounter with street use. From a safety standpoint, you can't afford to have ANY rubbing at the track. If you want to run the car at a GT2 ride height for example, you will need to run the rear suspension 0.6-0.7" lower than a GT2 (actually closer to 1" lower due to the TT subframe bushings) which will reduce the clearance above the top of the tires by 1.4-1.6" compared to a GT2 on 315/30/18s. Running it that low will require the subframes to be raised and a bump steer kit to be used to preserve the correct suspension geometry. Lots is at play here to do it properly. The TT is already at a disadvantage with it's rubber donut subframe bushings that place the car 7mm higher relative to the rear suspension than a GT2/3. You will want to replace those with solid bushings regardless. At higher ride heights and street use it's not a problem but for a track set up it's not ideal. Even on the 305/30/19 set up you'll want 1000# springs at a minimum for the track.. Doing the subframe mounts is a given for track use.
