need some advice for a problem with the gt2.

OK, I've always thought i had a problem with something on our car. Today confirmed it.

There is a digital boost guage on the cluster, which you all know. Mine was always at 0.0 since we got the car. It has never changed. I drive with that setting on the cluster 90% of the time. I figured that it must be reset and not be an actual time boost meter. Today the car read 0.2 and 0.1 boost (i guess due to the weather). The temp is about 50 when this happened, which is the coldest temp i have run the car at.

I did take it to champion once before, but they said everything was working properly when it was reading at 0.0.

anyone know what the heck is going on? The car pulls like an animal and you can hear the turbos, so its making more than 0.0- 0.2 lbs of boost.

thanks.

I think that you need to take it back to Champion and tell them to fix your gauge cluster. I have never seen this issue before, but I would imagine that the gauge is not communicating properly with whatever method that it uses to check boost pressure (whether it be directly from the ECU or from a vacuum hose).

Are you sure its pulling like an animal or sounding like one? Is the turbo spool up extremely loud and then when you let off it sounds like an aftermarket blow off valve? When doing my spark plugs, my shop didnt tighten or lockdown the clip for the hose connecting to the intercooler, he literally just pressed on it when i got tot he shop and no problems. It was reading .1 bar and not really moving anywhere LOL, sounded so sick though
