Water pump popped
Water pump failed yesterday. Mechanic said, while he is there, he might as well do coil pack and plugs as I wanted to do them anyway. Anything else worth doing whilst there? I ordered my new manifolds and Exhaust and already have my new turbo to fit so will do all at the same time. Are injectors easier to get to while engine is lowered? Thanks

Also, can anyone clarify? When refilling coolant can you just run car and top up or is it necessary to pressurise the system? Lots of conflicting info online. Thanks

If it's at a shop he may use a power bleeder for the coolant filling as it's easier, but it can be done by just lifting the rear and filling and topping off as the T-stat opens and leaving the bleeder valve up for a day or two.
While in there do the t-stat also and check the condition of the hoses right there. Nothing really else to do there as it's a simple relatively straight forward job.

Thank you for this post, I ordered a set like this before I even started the job... Saved me a LOT of frustration!
