I had two vettes, and it sure didn't suck to own them. I am a vette lover too, and plan on the C6. Also, keep in mind there are plenty of fast vettes out there that'll make our TT's look like their standing still, IE SW's and NO Mercy's stroked MTI's.

I do however hate the civics, and souped up accords getting all riled up, tailgaiting, and challenging races during high traffic. It can be very annoying.

 

IMO when you think you're the $hit in your car and living the high life, there are people out there with better cars an more money. So enjoy what you got and be humble.

And I must agree with shank, the souped up cars that are trying to race you and tailgating just to **** you off gets really annoying!! and my car is not even that fast

 

Have a neighbor who has a 900hp Lingenfelter. I aint messin with him, but I'm thinking of having Buddy come down when he's done and givin him a whoppin just to save my Porsche face. I too am going to be watching for the new C6 Z06. Love the new C6 styling.

 

no. 1- you should have left out what nationality they are- look like a racist and could be any race, creed, or color.

no. 2- agree with you about obnoxious people thinking they can race on civilian streets and think they are at LeMans raceway.

no.3- i have been a Porsche owner for almost twenty years and never flaunted it because there is always someone out there with a nicer more expensive car and more money than you-a low profile is very effective in business and personal worlds

no.4- take it as a compliment not a dig if your car is stopped by someone else and they want to compete with you -it is called "cross-transferance" and it is the closest they will get to driving your car.

Just to let you know, 99% of persians would do nothing like that (as I am persian), infact, they are usually the most hubmle people, as it is in their culture. But there are always a few bad beans.

 

There are always a few 'bad beans' of any particular race, so there's no reason to point out what race they were, as it makes no difference. I'm plain vanilla Heinz 57 white guy, and God and everybody knows we have plenty of 'bad beans' - just look at the white trash culture, for cripes sake - they even have their own hero in Kid Rock!

 

Panorama tested a GT2 and stock TT at Road Atlanta, the GT2 did a 1.38.x, the TT did a 1.39.x. Dry track, same driver (David Murry)... I don't think 1 sec of track time makes a TT a "6 or 7" compaired to a GT2...

I doubt that Tyson has any kind of racial grudge against Persians; I believe he was just stating facts so please no BS politically correct censoring.

RedDevil: If you look at all of Tyson’s posts I think you will agree he is not an elitist or racist. He just simply states the facts like he did here. As he said, they were obnoxious, so that is why he probably worded things strongly, but so what. Speak the truth.

What politically correct means is exactly what you are saying, hiding the truth because some people might be offended, ie. leave out that they were Persian's. This is wrong and not freedom of speech. Tyson was not making an attack on all Persians, merely describing these particular obnoxious Persian's. If he said all Persians were obnoxious I would be all over his case, but he didn't. He merely stated facts and I implore him to continue to do so, and to fight people like you who are saying he should not have done so.
