You think Ferrari guys are arrogant ... check a Viper site
Speaking of "arrogant", do any of you drink Arrogant Bastard Ale from the Stone Brewing Co. (North County San Diego)?

Re: porsche tt owners are ferrari wannabes

had some time off yesterday and went to local ferrari dealer and told him just sold my tt and shopping around, possibly for a pre-owned ferrari. while I was there 2 ferrari owners were trying to convince me that every porsche tt owner deep down wished he was behind the wheel of a ferrari and drives in the shadows. also started bu--sh-tting me how any ferrari owner has a larger bank account than a tt owner . after verbal backlash, i could not restrain myself anymore and it turned into a slugfest. the cops showed up and luckily i knew one of the officers from being an old patient of mine! now i am having second thoughts about buying a ferrari if these are the type of pri-ks i have to chat with online.. oh yeah, Jim this is a true story and i still have my deposit on the Lotus in case you think this is b-ll****
Holy crap! hahaha That is .
I know we do a lot of Pcar and Fcar things together and I with some other friends have done a lot of drives w/ the F club here in Houston. I can say there are all types in there. We've met some really nice people, but the over-all attitude is WAY different than the PCA events.

I would have argued that the Pcar owners (at least in Houston) may in general (and I hate even comparing) "have larger bank accounts."

In Houston we tease Dallas about having a bunch of "30 thousand dollar millionaires". In other words, people who make 30k and want the world to believe they're wealthy. It's just a general atmosphere there. Where as here, there are a lot more people of wealth, but you would never know it because people here aren't as 'showy'.
I usually correlate Fcar owners to this wannabe rich mentality more-so than Turbo owners. You could say a lot of Boxster owners would hit this mentality to juts get the Porsche name, but not Turbo owners usually.

That's why Fcars are so often just 'jewelry' cars. Rarely do they use them like they should be. Turbo owners more often than not, DRIVE their cars.

Bill, in order for me to believe your fisticuffs story, I will need to see some evidence. Either you are bruised or your hands should be. Otherwise, I think you are full of sh@t.

After talking to you more, i believe it now but still don't think it's worth getting into a fight over. You should just settle it on the road with a game of "chicken". I seriously doubt any Ferrari would hold up well in a head-on with a Hummer.

LOL
I got a visual of that scene from that old (kinda gay) movie "Footloose" where they're doing a game of chicken with tractors and Kevin Bacon is stuck to the pedal.

Hey, you gave me a good idea. Let's play Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon Separation. Scott's picture reminds me of that uber-talent, Anthony Edwards, of "Revenge of the Nerds & E.R." fame. Can we get some help in getting from Kevin to Anthony?

HAHAHA.

That is the only 'famous' person I ever get told I look like. When I was 16, I was told I looked like "Goose" in Top Gun. I liked the comparison then, but now after ER and his baldness, I'm not so sure. hehe

Let's see. Anthony Edwards was in Top Gun with Tom Cruise who was in A Few Good Men with Kevin Bacon.

Total guess... I didn't go the website to see the real 'chain'.

At least when you looked like Goose, you had Meg Ryan. Nice one getting to Bacon in three.

lol yeah.

As for Bacon... it was in 2.

1 is if he was in the same movie with him ever (don't know if he was)
2 is if he was in a movie with someone who was in a movie with him.

Wow Scott, you sure F@#$^D up the thread on the Gallardo vs. TT. Thanks to your "gay" comments, you set off a chain reaction amongst some of our members. Stop trying to recruit more homos from our board for your shenanigans over there in "H-town". I hope you are proud of yourself. Personally, I would never attack another member (unless he deserved it). So please keep your chicken-hawking, tool-less, my car is better than your car inflammatory remarks to yourself. Some of us really don't have time to read meaningless BU!@SH*T here and the Administrators don't need you to be jamming up the server with that crap anyway. Next thing you know, you'll have some space-wasting double-avatar that shows the only two good things in your otherwise mediocre life! Besides, what's Mom's number in case I get down there?

There's no way in hell I'll lock this thread. This thread has been designated the official trash people and their mothers thread.

My mom said she has missed your visits. Has that disfunction of yours cleared up? I know you said "it's never happened to me before" but seriously, be careful because impotence is sometimes a symptom of early heart troubles. At your age you really have to be careful... and no... having a red car does not make up for areas where you're normally lacking.
