Scott... I agree with everything you've said. Especially with my incorrrect assumptions on population density in the USA by ethnicity.

I did a little analysis on the population distributions in the USA. By compairing 1990 and 2000 data from the census bureau, I was way out of line with the Latino comment. But, interestingly enough, if one extrapolates the growth rates of the Latino population (57.9% total return) along with other non-white Americans (42.7% T.R.) over that decade, it is enevitable as the white American population only grew by 5.9% over the same period.

All things being equal (which they never are of course - for example illegal immigrints don't get polled in a census), minority time arrives on January 26th, 2038.

So, I guess it's fair to say that Red Devil has a few years to be a $#%&#(@!(*&$! before he'll decide making friends isn't always a bad thing.
Take off, eh! A little analysis? You're weather must be worse than you thought or you need a hobby. Maybe the U.S. Census Bureau has a spot for you since your so good with the calculator. Besides that Archie Bunker, I said Mexico and you, in your bigoted way, grouped Mexicans and Latinos together. Next you'll be saying Persians. I will agree that your beer is good, but not as good as the Germans. If it weren't for the beer and cheap lap dances in Montreal, we might have to nuke the whole country. Canada is a country isn't it? Maybe we should send the Red Cross up there and claim the whole mother f!@#er for ourselves! That would buy us Caucasians some time if you became known as the U.S. Canadian Provinces. Kinda has a nice ring to it.

Hey. I prefer the USA to Canada. I'm an extreme capitalist. Canada has a left wing over governed slant to it that drives me nuts. I'm a portfolio manager, specializing in Large Cap US Growth (and have beaten the S&P500 for 8 years by 7%/year). I sell the virtues of the US every day. I would love for W to come take us over. Preferably a buy-out at par. 1 U$ for 1 C$. Unfortunately all my investments and business valuation are already U$. And by the way. Get f&*king working down there. The 20+% depreciation of your currency over the past 12 months is pissing me off! I'm no bigot. I'm Canadian for crying out loud. Don't you know we are all bleading heart liberals?

hehehehe. Awesome post.

WTF is up with the currency? This weak dollar is pissing me off too. My trip to Whistler cost me a good 20% more than it should have! It's not bad for our economy, but it sucks for us when we travel!
It would be frustrating to live in a socialist country and be in your business.

IMFO

Short term interest rate spreads with other countries are the directional driving factor in FX rates. Canada's (and the rest of the world's) economy is starting to suffer due to our dramatically higher FX rates. US 90 day Tbills @ 0.85%. Non U$ rates will come under pressure (from thier central banks) to stimulate thier stalling economies. Greenspan will be raising soon. The 8.2% Q3 growth in GDP if f--king HUGE! Not all the other crap the left wing media is yapping about (Deficits -> that's a revenue story, not an expenditure story) The Balance of trade deficit blabber is crap also.

Greenspan gets busy......U$ will appreciate.

I find Whistler is either "on" or "off" because it's elevation is so low and close to the Pacific, that it can get a little wet.
We hit it for one good day and the other 3 were "off". It was raining on most of the mountain. Even at the top! F#%@ing rain! WTF?!
In Colorado, that never happens, but when Whistler is "on", it's the best!
And even with the current exchange rate, it's amazingly cheap.

If a Canadian could be President, I'd support ya.

I get so freakin' sick and tired of the leftists on TV talking about all the people out of work even though the unemployment rate is improving again. They say, "Unemployment is improving, BUT to the x million people out of work still that doesn't make a difference to them." blah blah blah

There will always be x million people out of work. There will always be people looking for jobs. I'm no economist, but I took enough in college to remember that some unemployment is healthy for the economy & that it's truly impossible to have 0% unemployment. And theories said if you did manage 0% unemployment that it would be disastrous for the economy.

F#$%in libs. They only succeed by making things look dismal. How sad a life is that?

Bummer about the rain... I have'nt skied Whistler, always wanted to...I have skied the "Powder Triangle" in BC which is inland and consists of Fernie, Whitewater and Red Mountain(I highly recommend it). I was lucky when I went...fresh POW everyday. That's the one problem with planning ski trips...It's a gamble that you hit right...Frustrating to say the least...

You can say that again, F***in LIBS!. Sadam is left to run amuck as is that moron in South Korea, while that Fat *** was President, now Bush is cleaning up his mess. The liberals cry because of how Sadam treats his people, we eradicate him and now they cry because we shouldn't mess with other country's problems. God help us if another liberal gets into office. The entire economic theories and policies are completely baseless. Give back to the less fortunate, the uneducated, the criminals, that ought to really help our economy.

Bush's tax cuts and policy are now really coming into their own. We will rebound from this recession stronger than ever. Solid principals are in place to take us there. Everyone thinks the extended recession is somehow Bush's fault. Better to point fingers at the deserving party. Greenspan's over anxious rate increases to avoid inflation caused this recession. Want a patsy, look no further than Greenspan and the FED's monetary policy in 2000.

Yep. That's why I like going to Colorado. There are so many resorts, you can almost always switch at last second to a good one.

Hey Zippy, were you born in Canada or where? I think we might need to change the Constitution, otherwise nice fellows like him and the Governator can't become president.
