I think you're clouded in your assumption. Better is subjective. Just because it is more expensive, and the doors go up, does not mean it is better.
No one is defensive about the 911.
Personally, I do think the 911turbo and GT2 and of course the CGT are better cars and out perform the lambo.
We are mainly amused by the arrogance (oh i mean confidence) of the aforementioned Hammerhead.

As for Porsche out performing Lambo, some instances they do. Having owned several of both, as a whole they dont compare. Lambo is a Supercar, Porsche is not.
New Murcielago is rumored to have 750hp, so that will take care of the CGT.
