The only person I know that o-ringed the heads/liners was VRAlexander. I know he ran 1.7 bar, maybe more and he didn't have any head failures that I know of. Then again we haven't talked since he left.

Protomotive through VRAlexander's car was one of a couple that truely pushed the envelope and raised the bar. We were so impressed with the work that we stopped our motor assembly to have Todd @ Protomotive machine our heads and liners for the o-rings.

The next question ......... from what material is your rings made ? There are a few materials that will hold the pressure. Certain ones will transfer heat while others will help disipate heat. This can have an effect on how far your push the timing. Same hold true on liner material.
