Positive experience at Carlsen

Yesterday I called Brian Haske, one of the service advisors at Carlsen, to schedule a low mileage annual service and brake flush. I was able to get an appointment the next day (today) and still got an '04 Boxster loaner. Took my car in this morning at 9am and was greeted immediately by Brian, a very courteous and professional gentleman. I ended up doing a 15K service instead since my car already has 11,XXX miles. By 3pm, Brian calls me and says the car is done. I drive back to Carlsen in the Boxster. When it's time to settle the bill, I present Brian with some service coupons I received in the mail from Claridge's and asked if Carlsen could honor them. After a short discussion with the service manager, Brian introduces me to his boss and agrees to honor the Claridges coupons.

This was by far the most pleasant service visit I've had at a Porsche dealer. No waiting in line for the service advisor at 7am ...no Enterprise econobox loaner .... no overnight(s) waiting for my car to be done ....no waiting two weeks for an appointment .... no scratches found on the car at pickup ......just a very satisfying and smooth experience. This is the first time I've had my Porsche serviced at the new Carlsen facility. The place is clean and people are friendly. I would highly recommend Brian Haske at Carlsen the next time you are ready to take your baby in for service!! Just wanted to share the experience ...no affiliation with Carlsen whatsoever.

Agreed, Brian is a great guy and actually did the BayArea drive with us. I too am getting the 15K service and will be presenting the coupon I got.

I like how they always give us Boxsters for loaners! Those little cars are FUN!

Did you all get the cold mailing from Stevens Creek Porsche advertising permanently reduced service prices ? Their 15K is $295 " major savings ! ". How does that compare to Carlsen. I recall a Carlsen wheel alignment used to be advertised at $325 . Stevens Creek's everyday price is now $144. Brake fluid change $99, differential oil change $79/axle, tranny oil change $129 , oil /filter change $118. There are prices listed for higher mileage services also.

Carlsen's list price for the 15K service is $489; brake flush $150. I got a nice discount, but those prices from Stevens Creek seem pretty low, especially the $118 for an oil change.

agree, Brian is a great guy. Just got my 15k done early and had a nice chat about the drive which I did not attend. Also fixed my squeaky soft top without even mentioning it when I brought my car in. Did end up paying full price for the service though...wish I had the coupon

Brian and Carlsen are first class. Wouldn't buy or service P-car anywhere else.

It is nice to see people post something positive about a dealer for a change. Seems like all you ever hear is bashing.
