GT2 for $100k
GT2 for $100k
A local dealer is selling a CPO GT2 for $100k. It has 30k miles. Is that a steal, or is it simply a fair price? Seems low to me. And yes, I checked bluebook, but it doesn't seem like bluebook is very accurate for 996s. So what do you guys think?

Well...it is a CPO car (and most of the others are not), so if you don't plan on modding...I think it's a great price.

it's not that great of a price at all. trade-in values on pristine gt2s are sub 100, and that's not even high mileage cars.
imo it's a fair market price, could probably haggle down a bit.

I figure if they're asking $100k, it's probably reasonable to assume you could get it for $90k. Maybe less. I was just wondering if the asking price was a steal or in the ballpark of fair. Now I know. Thanks guys!
I have a crazy itch to buy a TT or a GT2. I just can't decide which one, or whether to get something that's modded or stock. And then there's just so many choices out there. Arggghh. A person could go crazy.
Anyone know where the best place would be to read about the differences between a stock 996TT and stock GT2? I know the TT is AWD and lighter and lacks the badass front bumper, but honestly, I don't know much else. I would be a first-time Porsche buyer. Have an M3 now.
Thanks for all the guidance!
