OK...so I pulled all of the spoiler wires and tied the wires as the OP instructed but still get the malfunction light at 75 mph. dgreen78...which ones did you "tie together" and which "hot ones" did you tape up?

spoiler failure

I just picked up a 2001 996TT, had it checked out dealer told me everything was fine and car was clean, when i hit the right speed the spoiler goes up and then upon deceleration the failure light comes on and the spoiler remains in the up position. The rocker switch still lets me manually move it up or down. I am guessing it is not a fuse because the spoiler still functions up and down. Does anybody have any ideas ??? Thanks dave

I think you have to take the large center Gemballa IC out and then..reach the harness to work out the procedure.

Did you eliminated the 2 OEM IC's? check this out: G96 GTR 750 and look at the real bumper IC's openings

Pierre
That is a GTR which is based on a GT3 not on a TT so it is a completelly different car and system. No I have the three ICs on, I spoke with Orton (Neil) and he is doing the remap of my ECU and if we are able to reach the 1,3 boost as he thinks we will I will keep the car as I have it (that was his suggestion).

PM sent for part number as well. I have a partially failing RAM and decided to get the GT2 wing/front (thanks iA/Stephen) instead of repeated repairs, I will need the aerokit harness as well. Btw, the GT2 wing will save approx 80lbs over the hyd wing :-)
