Damn this thread rivals even the worse on corvetteforums.....
This is comming from a guy who trailers his 700 rwhp GT2 all the way from Ohio to Texas for the Supra nats, and then is too much of a chicken to even take his car out for the track day event. Assuredly he was afraid his lack of driving skills would be exposed. Also, the Supra I raced was the same one that pulled on your GT 30 set up which suggests that I am a better roll on racer than you as well.

Thus I wrote another song about you, Jamie...this time it is to the tune of Abbas' "Dancing Queen"...In your case it is "Trailer Queen." It goes a little somethin' like this:

"Drivin' all the way from Ohio....
Smokin' a cigarette every mile...
(don't you know...
that you'll get...
ca-ancer...)"

CHORUS:"She is the Trailer Queen, middle aged and mean, she just needs gasoline..."

Back to the topic of tracking high hp cars, as has been suggested on another thread, the difficulty is managing the hp when comming out of a corner. With, say a typical na 360 rwhp track car, you brake at the right time (as late as possible at the end of the straightaway w/ out losing control of the car) find the fastest line through the turn (the true key to a fast lap time on the track) and then mash the peddle comming out of a turn. W/ more than 450 to the rear wheels, that will spin you off the track, therefore you have to modulate the throttle very carefully comming out of the turns which requires more skill.

As you well know Sean, Todd finished the car early Friday am and it arrived in Tx late that same afternoon. Do you really believe yourself or is this just the best BS you could come up with? And Nick is still laughing at your version of both races Sean.

This was worse than your last attempt.

Now this was truly brilliant. I'll speak for everyone and thank you for the morning laugh!

Rich also wanted me to ask you if you have figured out the difference between R compound and DR's yet. He still listens to your unbelievable question on the TX DVD when he needs a good laugh. And make sure you show up next year at TX08 because I heard a rumor they want to do a special little feature on you
