In car track day video from the Autobahn Club in IL

Thought you guys would like to see my 996 in action at the Autobahn club in Joliet IL from 8/18.

Great sunny day, perfect track temp and the car performed great. Just need a bit more power to stay with the lighter/high hp cars

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=An__j-gbYTw

at the 8:00 minute mark an Exige passes me without me giving him the pass signal and he ends up braking too late for a corner and into the grass. HAHA

Sweet video!! Looks like a lot of fun. What do you think your top speed in the straight aways was? What kind of tire were you running? Seemed to have some pretty good grip.

At ACC I can hit about 120 on the back straight but the real nice thing about that track are the high speed corners where you can sustain speeds above 80. That's what I like.

Tires - Sport Cups 235/295

Thanks for checking out the video

This was the MVP event? I'm looking at doing one of their events at Black Hawk in September. How did they do running it?

Thumbs up

Nice driving....you looked like you had some nice clean lines.

Your tires weren't even squealing.....so you have a lot more you can ring out if it.

I heard squealage, nice driving...if anything, later harder braking. Nice video

I too may be at the Blackhawk event on 9/19.

It was, MVP is pretty easy going and and you get a ton of laps. I'll be at BH in Sept.

See you there!

Not too much squealage out of MPSC. They either give you a ton of grip or go.
