I can't remember what's included and am too lazy to look it up. Isn't it mostly inspection of stuff and change out the air cabin filter, maybe oil change?

I agree, it seems a bit high. My 30k service was about $900 at Porsche in Downtown LA.

What detailed documentation should a dealer give the owner after performing 15-30-45-60 service? Something beyond: xxx mile service @ $895.00?

They should stamp your maint. book and give you a check sheet. We get 3 hours to do it and that is at a maint. rate. It's under $100 an hour. We change the oil, pollen, wipers if needed, and a full inspection and fluid check, tire pressure, ect......that sounds a little high, but our hourly rate is probably lower being in MI.

If you don't look into what is being done in your service you run the risk of getting ripped off. If you are not careful you will pay $850 for a once over and an oil change. Don't think that just because it's the dealer that they all do the same thing. A few things to look for are serpentine belt, fuel filter, and plugs. These are some of the more expensive items of a service. Good luck.

I was quoted 600 from my local (Houston) dealer - but the 45K is just an inspection and oil / filter change. See Renntech for the specifics... you might want to consider an indy shop...

They are ripping you off. The 45K service is nothing more than just a glorified oil change. Ask them to change the oil if you want a stamp in the book, inspect the filters yourself.
