I want to replace the interior, trunk and engine compartment bulbs with LEDs. After some investigation I think I have found the correct bulbs at www.superbrightleds.com :

Trunk + engine compartment + interior dome light [6411]:
4410-x9 LED Festoon bulb


Map reading bulbs (either side of dome light) [2825]:
WLED-x6 LED bulb


Step/courtesey lights (door) [2825]:
WLED-x5 LED Wide Angle LED bulb



Has anybody tried these successfully?




Also, is it possible to replace the H7 fog light with a 9-LED H7-WHP9 without triggering the bulb failure warning?

I have now fitted the LEDs. Everything worked fine, except I was unable to fit the 5-LED wide angle bulb inside the door step/courtesey lights . No big problem thought, I used the 6 LED directional bulbs for the doors and the 5 LED wide angle bulbs for the map reading light instead.

Anyway, the correct LEDs should be:

Trunk + engine compartment + interior dome light [6411]:
4410-x9 LED Festoon bulb

Map reading bulbs (either side of dome light) + Step/courtesey lights (doors) [2825]:
WLED-x6 LED bulb

I did the leds on the license plate, doors inside overhead, and corner lights. I waiting for the lights inside the headlights and taillight from superbrightleds right now too.
I can try to take some pics if you guys want to see it .

 

It would be great with some pics! Also, if you can post the LED type numbers it would be easier for others to obtain the correct LEDs!

Does the LED light work correctly with the interior's light dimming feature (i.e. does it dim before turning off)?
