Congratulations on the decision to supercharge. I'm new and don't know how to post pictures, but my garage has a dyno from my VFE supercharged 3.6. You can see it at https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...94-Hybrid.html. Please excuse the torque/speed, the RPM lead was loose...
Also, who tuned your ECU? Seems a little bit on the risky side hovering around 14 but you know the most power is made right at the brink of being lean before it goes boom. People just have to find the right balance that is comfortable to them.
How many miles have you driven with the SC setup?

Here are some pictures of the new parts... pulley is about 3 1/2" in diameter, there are no markings. Will take a more accurate measure later.
My cats come later, so just took a picture of the headers and cans for now.
You get two boxes from VF if you go with this... one is long and light and contains all of the front radiator parts and bits as well as some SC intake tubing it would appear.
The other box is smaller and much heavier and contains all the other goodies. It is less than I was expecting in terms of knowing the challenge I thought it would be 1000 parts to deal with, so that gives me hope.
Everything looks to be very high quality and it was great packaging. The only thing you won't see in the pictures are the injectors as I put these in a safe place as soon as I found them.

Interesting you say that as most of the e46fanatics.com members would disagree and the reason why there are several M3 VF kits being sold in the used classifieds section right now. You hardly see any AA kits in the used classifieds vs. VF.
Anywho, I don't want this going off topic in this post as this is specifically VF stage 3 Porsche related.
I look forward to the install and would like to say that Purplxd has a very nice blog going.

Little more work...
Removed the front bumper and cut the center section out of my Aero bumper to accept the new GT3 rad to be used as an intercooler for the SC.
Not sure why, but the bumper just looks more "right" with the center section cut out.

Threw the GT3 rad on, needed the box and didn't like the idea of it lying around the garage with all the work going on.
If I have to move it around a bit during install, so be it...

Ok last post for today...
Took off the rear bumper and the cats. Was going to drop the whole exhaust, but was called in for tea and sweets then got too tired to go back to it.

Although this kit is from the same company, it doesn't seem to have any known/reported issues on the Porsches thus far.

I've had the VFE Supercharger for 22,000 miles and a dozen track days.
No problems, except after 4 V3 oil changes I have ruined the brass fittings, so I had to slot them. Now I use a great big screwdriver. And the reason it's running lean is because VF doesn't have maps for the X51. I believe the standard 3.6 has a better A/F mix.
