Chirping Tires...
Regarding chirping the tires or breaking the rear tires loose, it seems difficult to do with the C4S (unless, of course, I rev the hell out of it). I even have the X51 345hp package.
Does everyone else have the same "issue"? I mean, it's supposed to be 5/95 torque split under normal conditions and 40/60 at worst. So I would assume that it would have been somewhat easy to break the rear tires loose with minimal clutch pop into 1st gear. Instead, I would have to rev the hell out of the engine to chirp the tires in 1st with the PSM off.
Ideally, I'd also like to be able to chirp the tires hard shifting into 2nd gear, but that's not easy to do either. When I do get to do it in the 1-2 shift, the PSM light kicks in without me hearing the tires chirp.
So should I just buy really cheap tires since the Michelin Pilots are too sticky? I know it sounds pretty juvenile wanting to chirp the tires (I'm on the "older side" age-wise although my wife challenges me on that), but I find this somewhat stress relieving.
Anyone else have thoughts on this?

i cant even chirp the tires in my rwd 3.6L in any circumstance. which is entirely the point of this lay-out / vehicle. excellent grip!
if you want to go smoking tires, get a corvette.

I'm not sure why you'd really want to chirp the tires on your Porsche... my old Pontiac Firebird used to do that when it shifted from 1st to 2nd. I don't think I could make my C4S do it if I wanted to... but that's okay, because I don't want to anyway...

Even with my turbo, it is very hard to get a squeak out of the tires. I had it happen once in the summer totally by accident when I was taking off at a light - that is the only time. I would never try to make it happen between gears because that would be putting an awful lot of stress on the drive line for no real benefit - it doesn't make the car go faster.
I don't want to offend the OP, but if this is not a gag, then I think you should consider a different car to achieve this.
I think a modern 4 wheel drive Porsche would be one of the worst cars for "chirping" tires. How about a nice 3-5 year old corvette c6? Or mustang GT?
Also, I can appreciate strange things serving as a form of "stress relieving" but a nice pair of running shoes and breaking a sweat for 30-60 minutes each night would be far better for your porsche's longevity. I hate to think of how much stress and strain you have put on your clutch and drivetrain trying to attempt this.
No judgment, but you have the wrong car.
Good luck.
