Adding LED DRL's to 996

I have a 2000 911 full turbo look conversion.. I am wanting to add some LED DRL's on the bumper somehow. Has anyone done this? There has to be a good option..

Thanks!

Let's see some photos once you're done. I'm thinking of doing this as well.

I have tried this already, the hardest thing is to find the right LED. I tried 4 sets, but the color temp don't match the OEM Xenon light. Unless you dun care the color.

Has anyone tried these?

I've seen that listing for at least a year and thought they might be good when I get around to it. ( I have no affiliation)

Most of the ebay ones are gonna be dim and not up to OEM standards.

The best ones out there imo right now are the 7w CREE versions. This is the same ones that some law enforcement uses and if you ever seen cop car lights, you know how bright they can be.

How about these? http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&fe...&v=FqUcfvS49GE

TechArt has some OEM-type LED DRL's, but I didn't see any for a 996.

The problem that I see with most DRL's is that they don't look stock for porsche. Our bumpers have a slight curve and adding a straight flat piece to it will make it stick out and it will look like we bought them from pep boys. If there was a company that could make a curved housing or even make the housing out of a flexible material. I haven't found one yet that I'd be willing to drop a few bills on.
