the pump is mounted to something up there. i just don't remember what off the top of my head. i know it's looks like it's hanging, but it's not. i agree, i don't think it's the greatest place, but that's where EVO does it. my installer is going to build a bracket to move it around some and get that hose back up.

Where EVO says to install the pump is fine. Your problem is that the installer did not install it correctly and did not install the plumbing corrected. Better get it fixed before something you drive over rips the lines out. There is no need for a new design if the installer follows the written procedures. Why make more work for yourself when it wasn't done correctly to begin with?

from what they said, their particular directions were lacking with regards to this part. they said the kit evolves so much that the directions change quite a bit. i should have this changed out by next week. i'll post some pics of the new routing.

The instructions clearing show how the tank should be installedl. Note that there are no hoses coming from the bottom of the engine or tranny.

i talked to my installer about the pump again tonight. i guess it wasn't entirely the directions. VF sent a pump with different fittings and brackets than the previous install they did. with the pump and bracket they had, they couldn't get it to fit in there properly. like i said before, they're going to remedy this the next time i bring it in.

thanks for the pic. that's a perfect example of how it should look. appreciate the assistance.

The headers almost slipped right on, they needed a little torque to line up. They really made the car loud. I don't really notice a lmidrange oss, but the top end feels a little stronger. I did a timed 'b4' run and will try get in an 'after' run soon.

weird. my headers lined up perfect. couldn't have been too bad cause those headers are rock solid and don't flex and they still got them to fit.

holy smokes. i forgot your car is running muff bypasses. that thing must be riddiculous with the headers on there!

yeah, she resonates just a lil

i wouldn't mind to much but it activates the noise cancellation in my bluetooth earpiece when under acceleration

theres very small chance i may consider mufflers after the next Sebring event
