OK, so here are the official pics of the RUF R Kompressor.

Please note that the original car is painted in a dark color, and the "paint" you see is actually a giant sticker in Irish Green (for the Essen show) hence what people may think is a bad paint job.

Side view. Note the new wheels

Inside. Basic interioir in my opinion, but at least it's a manual

Chris, this is a tough one to resist. It's this or the RS4...... or tt.

Do you think the engine comes all fancy like that? The engine in the car does not have the color parts.

it's a nicely engineered setup without a doubt, but it's certainly not worth 20K. i'd rather by an EVO or TPC kit and a spare motor for that kind of money. typical overpriced RUF products. quality products, but there other people out there who's kits perform better for less money. it is nicely integrated though. for the "money is no object" crowd, i'm sure it will be a big hit. i doubt they will sell more than 10 of these in the US. if you were going to buy a new 997 (and there aren't really many used examples out there now), why not just buy a TT instead of forking over the 20K for a 80HP supercharger (may be more on the 997 now?).

i do like the sportec mono, i mean errr RUF wheels

deputydog: Out of a matter of interest, what did your SC cost all in, including labor and the unit was fully operational? Also, does it include a warranty on the engine? Further, if not under warranty, what issues have you had post install that have cost you?
