Are those tips reversed, shouldnt the round part be on the outside? Maybe its just me.

No. Take a look at the 996TT's with their tips. Also, the 996 tips only fit one way. The vertical portion is angled so that if they were reversed, the part you see wouldn't peek out of the lower bumper properly.
