3 spoke steering wheel.....

I have the same steering wheel as in the pic below and I was wondering if it is possible to change to a silver crest. If so, where can I get it and how do I remove the and intall the new one. Any input?

It's easy: Buy new airbag with silver crest from dealer. Then, swap them.

Heat it up with a hair dryer and peel it off...spray paint it silver and super glue that bad boy back on. Bingo...silver crest!

No, all the jokes aside...no it cannot be removed and replaced by you. It is part of the airbag assembly, heat staked or ultrasonic welded posts on the rear during the manufacturing process. To try to rip it off you risk compromising the tear seams on the bag and affecting its deployment. Sell it ...buy one with a silver crest. Dont stick on another on top of the one you have ...for if your bag ever gets deployed you will get the stickon embedded in your forehead.
