I have seen the front bumper in person looks good but I can't really till who good they are because it wasn't painted nor installed. They are working on the first customer's car and they'll send me pictures once it's done. something by this weekend or next week

alex@wheelexperts is infamous around these parts
The thing with TechArt is the build quality, fit and finish of their products are top notch. Many times with these products - you get what you pay for...

I have OE Techart stuff and I can say the fit and finish is not top notch and I am impressed on how they R&D the brackets to mount the front spoiler and rear apron. In a number of cars the front spoiler does not line up the well. One side is always off in a few of the cars I have seen including mine. I got a bargain on the stuff but I would never pay the price they want for their things. I would go for the GT2 front cover and conversion before paying the TechArt prices.

I have heard this also from a few customers. After researching recently, i found that the parts are painted/baked incorrectly. In the instructions, it specifically says to NOT "bake" the spoilers. It causes them to become wavey and causes flaws and fitment issues....

Hope that helps...

I have exactly same problems with the TT and when I contact TECHART they told that it could be because of the oven were overheated or they were stored incorrectly like waht Alex said.

What was interesting is the dealer in Saudi did 2 cars at the same time including mine the other one was good but mine came out wavey and no body could tell the reason.

Very true. Baking has to be very carefully done or not at all. I had one of my spoiler lips ruined due to overheating. There is a fine line between heating and overheating.

I installed Type II some weeks ago and the quality vs price is terrible,we had to adjust all the components for 12 days and then paint.

It seem to be more of a miss than hit with the TechArt products. I understand they use FRP(OEM Material) but for the price I would expect better results and no excuses. The shop that I use is high end for Exotics and they have installed many TechArt pieces. That is why I used them. They didn't bake mine from what he told me. They say its not always a good result with TechArt but its better than most. For the Retail or even 20% off for TechArt they are not worth the money.
I am glad I paid what I paid for mine.

A friend of mine bought the 997 Turbo Tech Art Copy rear GT bumper from NR Auto and he told me that the fitment was terrible.

I think he ended up selling it on ebay or something.
