Hi. I don't know if it is verbotten to discuss prices or supply on this forum. When I first heard of this car I was offered the oppty to buy one for 1K under sticker. The dealer said they were only getting one-very few to be made. I passed on the deal. Now they are getting another one, and I noticed Champion Porsche a board sponser has 3 for sale. Are they getting more available, and are people getting deals on them?

Dealers always say they're getting just one to entice you to buy right away.

I've also heard VW Group would like to increase Porsche's unit output noticeably. This will take a couple of years to realize but could be an important change in Porsche's future.

Certainly there will be more Turbos made but I think the biggest difference will be in the lower-end Boxters and Caymans. Cayennes too. In order to make the acquisition of Porsche work, VW needs to pump up volumes.

You should be able to get more than 1k for S I was able to get more than that last Feb. Still waiting on Ice Blue. Not sure how many they will make but I can bet you that you will see more Vettes in one day than you will Turbo S in a year unless you live next to a owner.

Yeah..I was speaking of the Turbo standard models. But still price point the discriminator obviously...hmmmmm reminiscing of the days of yore.. exclusivity......
now a common production for the semi-privileged masses.

The only reason why "exotic" no longer applies.

Porsche MUST build the 918...they must for this reason alone...some royal "HYPERCAR" must continue the royal blood line in replacement for the Carerra GT.

Hi Gj. Are they past the expected delivery date? The one I am looking at is an October build, supposed to be here Nov/Dec. I think the last time I ordered one it was pretty late.

You would think they would make them a little more available to buyers as the profit margin must be enormous!
