That's only here on this particular forum, go to the GT2/GT3 or track and Autocross section if you want to talk about the turns or even Rennlist (or some other forums that I can't name). This section has been taken over. Like I've said before, the new Supra forum is what this has become, but with lots of off topic. When you come here you know what to expect.

Might want to try broadening your cartoonishly narrow view of America in your spare time.
thank you sir

UPDATE:
After a numerous communication with TPC it seems that they will only conduct this event at VIR. Upon accepting the challenge we both agreed that this would need to be a spectator friendly event that lends a warm welcome to all forms media and supporting parties. VIR just doesn't suite the bill. We would like to say TPC is scared to conduct this "Challenge / Race" anywhere but there own sub par proving ground.

Come on TPC, lets get it together and show the world who REALLY HAS THE FASTEST VTG TURBO. You've been called out once again!

I knew this would never go down.. by the way.. the shop making the callout doesnt get to pick and choose where an event takes place.. Your confident enough call someone out then run where they want to run.. Take it to VIR and if you win you look 10x even better.. Have Leh Keen Drive both cars and it wont matter.. He won superlap in a car he never drove before in every session and with a broken sway bar in 1.. LOL

We recommended Randy Pobst as a driver since he has mutual history with both parties.

VIR is far from spectator friendly. When the venue yields less then 100 spectators for a Grand Am event you can only state that the venue is not receptive.

If the world wants to see this go down at VIR then it will certainly be considered. Please keep in mind that the road course is only one element of this event. Another venue would need to be booked ( AKA NHRA Drag Strip ) for 0-60, 0-100, and 1/4 times.

I know TPC has some great road race history but i would think with Champions ALMS presence that i have seen they would have some edge on the Road portion..

The unfortunate part and problem that i see here is that TPC's Worlds Fastest VTG car isnt available for them to run.. There is no monetary benefit for TPC to build a whole new VTG car to prove what they have already proven.. They hold the WORLD's FASTEST VTG PORSCHE time slip.. And until someone breaks that regardless of this event it is what it is..

My Gt2 isnt ready just yet or trust me i would be making my callout.. Ill be giving lengths at the drag strip and on the street.. I dont have a clue about road racing so that part im out.. HAHA

Id say Pobst would work if both agree.. Im not sure how consistent he is in drag so maybe a 2nd driver with Drag Experience.. i can recommend someone.. Chris Green..

NOTE:
We are using our customers ( with permission ) 68mm 997.1 TT since we no longer own a 997.1 Turbo. All of our R&D has shifted towards the 997.2TT program and our in house vehicles consist of a Turbo S ( wait until the public see's that ) and a 997.2 Turbo.

Im sure TPC has done a ton of builds and a customer would be excited to volunteer their vehicle.

I assumed you were using the war admiral.. This event has too many loopholes IMO.. 1 car is going to show up with 8" splitter and 18" tall wing, the next with nitrous.. I dont see how this can pan out to work but i guess well see.. Id just show up on bottle for the 1/4 mile, 60-130, 0-100 and forfeit the road course..

NM I think the venue should be in no ones back yard giving an advantage. I'm telling you Atlanta is middle ground.

Not right if tpc will only do VIR. That is lame.

We agreed to only install components that we offer as off the self kits. Obviously we wanted to keep this realistic.
