Neil sent me some dyno data for Scott's GT-R 1248 whp build. Absolutely massive HP AUC. Calculated range was 3800-8000 rpm. The simulated cure fit was excellent so the calc is good. Thanks Neil for sending the data.

Great stuff, Dave. This is one of the most informative threads I've seen on here a while. Nice job.

I'd like to see how the Champion 65mm compare to the smaller 63.5s like TTdude's graph from page one and the 68mm's.

This is the only dyno of the 65mm I could find (from a Gt2 not a TT).

These extrude honed 63.5mm turbos spool faster than anything else in this thread including the graphs for stock turbos/stopck turbos with Protomotive tune.

But given that the data was done with a 3rd gear pull and not a 4th gear pull, I wonder if that accounts for the much better spool up, and maybe they are not directly comparable?

They are making 100 load by 2000rpms (vs 80 on stock turbos) and 130 by 2500rpms (vs. 110 stock).

If Tom has any 65 mm vtg datalogs he could send me, I'd be happy to plot them. I don't have a dyno of my turbos.

I agree that it is best to compare apples to apples whenever possible.

Actually, I think we just dyno'ed one a few days ago...I'll see if I can grab the log. Or at the very least I'm sure there's a log somewhere in there from a 65mm setup I can send over.

Very nice, Dave. Now please give me back my extra 500 rpm (actually 800 rpm, since my redline is 8300) so I can see how they really compare.

Unfortunately, EVT1200 data stops just before 7500 (~7465). I can extrapolate the curve to 8000 based on the slope and see what it looks like (it will be a little later today).

What I meant was to compare our actual, real-world AUCs. The ones the cars will actually use when they're driven. If EVT's redline is 7465, that would be that car's actual AUC. My redline is 8300, so that would be my actual AUC.

No worries either way, bro. This is great info and I appreciate all the effort you put into it providing it.
