Which ECU tuning?
My car has done around 18kmiles with the software and changed plugs once...We have another 997TT tip car with the same software that is doing streetraces almost every day...no problems at all...car runs just fine and very very fast...
Things I'd consider in getting a 997.1TT tune:
A) OBDII flashable/modifiable/reversible in my garage by me. No sending off my ecu for a permanent flash I that can't be undone.
B) Tuneable. I.E. you can email your data file to the tuner and her can modify the tune to YOUR car. Why? Because YOUR car is different from MY car. This is applicable to even stock turbo'd cars. I'd be scared to run a non-conservative tune on my car that was generic. Better hope you're monitoring your EGTs or your AFRs.
C) Customer support direct from the tuner who wrote your file and ability to support additional mods. No need for a garage's support because after-all it's getting installed in your own garage.
D) Options. I like options. Can the check engine light caused by no cats or worthless hi-flow cats be turned off? Can you raise the rev limiter to what I specify? Can you program in launch control? Can it activate my Duke V3 jammer? Can you create me a specific file for a specific fuel to include E85?
E) Can you tune a TCU and can you tune it to match the rev limit of my ECU?

John

As for your claim of "fastest", the term "fastest" is commonly accepted to refer to trap speed in the 1/4 mile with "quickest" being the 1/4 mile ET. The word "fast" refers to speed and "quick" refers to time ... just saying.

I'm by no means discounting your car's times or your integrity, but your record claims come from one source - you and your friend in Athens. No one else in the entire world has reported these or any similar success with the APR tune. Is your car a fluke? Are all the roads in Athens downhill with a tailwind? I see there's an Aussie with the APR tune - anyone else at all? Any direct comparisons to a Protomotive/Softronic flash? I'd like to see some 1/4 miles with it in the USA as the tracks are standardized and that standard is well... the standard. "Unbeatable" is a strong word after-all and needs some backing up.

P.S. its notmy fault others dont achieve my times...there are around 12 APR 997TT tip cars here and 1 manual...Best 100-200 time of the manual is 5,3!!!Ask madsex,he will send you the dbn file to verify it yourself...also my 6,48 file (60-130) is here if you like it...
Facts are facts...and APR is the most powerful flash so far...whether you like it or not...Chris Green from USP motorsports has a thread here dynoing his car with just APR flash ...and guess what ...he gained 110hp and lot of torque...However i am not in business with APR and frankly I dont care whether they will sale or not.Their international customer support is terrible and they dont care for their customers...So go ahead and get the flash you like...but you wont have that performance...

Shell V-Power Racing 100RON + race file FTW

I've been told that APR race file is boosting to 1.5bar+ on stock turbos
Exactly as you said...shell v power racing 100ron (equals to 95ron+mon/2)...and APR stage 2 file...I still havent tried that file with ms 109 to observe full potential of the file...max boost is 1,5bar while boost at high rpm is around 1,3bar...

I recall protomotive was one of them. Base level tunes though ie: tunes not requiring the use of modified turbos and the likes to deliver the said performance. And, none could match the APR.
Regarding the lack of available 60 to 130 and 100 to 200 times from other APR users, it would be great to get some additional feedback. You mentioned an Aussie member had one? Who was it?
Matthew at GMP is one. Maybe buy one and lay us all down some times... Actually GMP said a long time back now they were working on doing that for the members. Don't know what happened since then...
