With the TPC module in mode 2 or 3 the car is super stable even up to 240km/hr. I'm very impressed and happy and will not bother changing the front splitter (unless a good looking one comes up for a good price, lol). Thanks TPC!
Your experience is consistent with mine and numerous others. Simply an amazing mod, bordering on a "must have" at this point!

The cold wasn't hard to deal with once the tires had warmed up but the rain really changed things. One of the instructors took us out on the rain line and it was very different from the race line. I kept on forgetting which was which and made up my own hybrid line, lol. I was too chicken to go more than "driving miss daisy" speeds in the rain. But when it was dry it was fine to go full blast. Some other high power cars were having some minor issues with traction but the awd system really helps put the power down. I will post video when the guy sends it.

Im sure someone else will have this question...

Confirmed with TPC that the box is the same for both the 997.1 and 997.2 turbo models. Includes S and GT2. The cardboard box might have a .1 or .2 sticker but it doesnt matter.

There are also yellow and white dsc boxes. The yellow was just and earlier hardware run and their supplier switched to white. They are the same. That being said if you have a yellow box it might have older software. Hopefully the user upgrade software comes out soon and everyone will get on the same stuff. But yellow or white all still work on turbos.

I installed the DSC a couple weeks ago in my 2012 997 Turbo S. Big difference!
The car is more settled especially in the turns. I have a particular location near my house that I like to do a "bat turn" and I am usually at max Q for that turn. After the DSC I felt the car could in fact go even faster as it felt more planted.
Definitely like the improvement!!! (I also have Damptronics and H&R sways)

I recently installed in my new 981 Boxster Spyder also but need more driving time to accurately assess it.

I had ordered the DSC box for my 997.1 TT TipTronic. I have installed the TechArt Bilstein B16 Damptronic. Harris had assured me that the DSC box will work with the Bilstein's as well. The unit came marked "997.2" Harris explained (over email) "The 997.1 Turbo takes the same file as a 997.2 car since Porsche used the same accelerometer from the .1 Turbo and put it in the .2 cars. Our engineer marks them as .2 so he knows which file is in the car". Another issue was that the the DSC box has only "normal" (no light on the button) and "Sport" (lit button).

My experience post the DSC box installation was...

In city driving (Mumbai, INDIA) below 40 kmph (25 mph) i could earlier feel and experience all road undulations. NOW all that is history... the ride is as good as my W212 E63 in "S" mode. comfortable enough to absorb all that the road imperfections and yet not being floaty.

In Sport mode at these speeds, the ride stiffens up but not to the extent the OEM box did with the Bilstein's. That was bone jarring. This is like the DSC box knowing that i am driving slow in the city and respecting my sensitivity. It was a little more firm than Normal mode. But not bone jarring.

While driving at higher speeds ( >100 km ph, 60 mph) in Normal mode, if i did certain evasive manoeuvres, I found that there is very little body roll. It feels like the DSC box immediately responds to the change in the levels and corrects the compression/rebound of the Bilstein's. High straight-line speeds make the car feel a wee bit floaty. I would guesstimate it at about 25% of the OEM stock coil-over's floatiness. I would love if Harris can address that. However, i am not complaining.

In Sport mode at Higher speeds, the car feels planted and can be thrown around with much confidence. One thing that i noticed than was that in the Sports mode, the ride is not as harsh as i had earlier experienced with the Bilstein's running on OEM box. With the DSC box it feels that i have a truly active suspension, much like my active pre-amplifier...

This has made me scared of driving the E63 Bi Turbo...

I will soon be taking it on the freeway and mountain twists and check out the ride in both modes... till then..

Go for the drive in the mountains and freeways, you'd love it. But wait till you track the car (if you do indeed track your car).

^RajuPatel - glad to hear that your are enjoying the D.SC. module, it is indeed a transformative mod and as near a 'must have' for our 997TT's as they come. Nothing beats a truly active suspension...

Well, cheers to another mod I that am sold on...!!!

As much as I enjoy my new toy, I am blown away by all of the mods that can be done to further enhance the vehicle.

While I have been only been an owner for 3 weeks now, I can better understand a ton of the feedback regarding some of the short-comings with a Turbo. Writing this makes me cringe as I finally have the car of my dreams...but knowing you can make subtle mods to keep it as the car of your dreams is awesome! All the more reason I'm ear to ear smiles that I bought turbo!

Not sure when I will pull the trigger, but for now, I'm adding it to the list.

Now that's passing the ultimate test, if the wife likes it then it's definitely a winner!!! To anyone one the fence, do it...you won't be disappointed.

Maybe we need a "wife approved" sticker on the mods section. Mine is not so much fond of the exhaust but loves the upgrade on the suspension. She is disappointed that it's not so simple to do this on her 2005 987
